Last year, I went out on a lunch date with someone I met online. I thought it was going well, and I asked my date if she wanted to go out again. She agreed, so that night I followed up over text to make plans. She asked me if she could bring along a friend. I thought, I think she’s trying to set me up! After a few more texts, I found out that was indeed the case. She decided to give me her friend’s number so that I could set up a date with her separately. We met for lunch, and that was my first date with Jessica.
